The way of purity looks like another black metal band who cries for attention. But they aren't, they don't want to be recognized and wear black balaclavas. They have a strong message and they know what they want. 'We don't give a fuck about fans' this is a qoute of one of their youtube video's
talking about how they don't give a fuck about anything, which dissapoints me a bit.
In my opinion fans are everything for bands. If there are no people to listen to, it doesn't make sence that you play music. Now more about their new album,
crosscore has all kinds of metal in it; black metal, death metal, deathcore with some clean vocals that fit perfectly. The vocals by Lostfaith are great. Her growls fit great with her clean vocals. There's also much diversity in crosscore and no boring moments and the album ends with my favorite: pure. A death metal song with clean parts that are great to sing along to.


Conclusion:
The way of purity have taken a risk to mix all kinds of metal in 10 tracks but they succeed very well in this mission.
Crosscore is a great album and there's nothing bad to say about it, but I think that not every metal fan will like it. Make sure you listen to them on their myspace before buying their album.
