The Legend of Erthia RPG - Battle Preview (Might and Magic Inspired) Torrent Download

The Legend of Erthia RPG has now graduated to it's beta stages. I have decided to create a new topic to help keep all of you up to date on how the testing is going with the RPG version to the game.

Although the story is not yet complete and is one of the main reasons I have not released a demo yet, it is coming along. So far the main idea is you are a group of heroes who have been chosen to seal a gate that leads to the etheral realm. Etheral (Not Ethereal) is a term that was placed into this game to represent a new kind of power or plain of existence. In order to seal the etheral gate, the heroes must seek the four artifacts which are scattered across Erthia (not Erathia), the world. Despite the main quest, there are also tons of side quests and twists to the game.

The game features a much more complex random treasure sytem then any of Might and Magic games. I have created more than 100 different bonus types that items, armor, and weapons can be enchanted with. Weapons and armor can also contain different material such as iron, steel, etc. The possibilities are vitually limitless.

Areas usually have at least one powerful creature amongst the rest. It will allow the possibility of finding treasure that is a level above the areas main treasure loot.

Battles are active time based. You have to be quick and well prepared for combat. In my opinion, the battles are one of the best parts to the game. Even though this is the RPG version, you have to still use proper tactics.

The overworld is large and well populated with quests. It contains many different areas to explore at your own will...

As of now, there are over 200 regular monsters to battle with. This is not including leaders or quest monsters.

There is a schedule implemented into the game (Alpha Stage) that brings days, weeks, months, and years. They will help refresh the shops with new weapons, armors, items, or spells just like in Might and Magic. It also affects the age of the character.
